What is a Lash Lift & Tint?
What are some risks or after effects of Brow Lamination?
While brow lamination is not invasive compared to brow surgery, tattooing, or other related procedures, there are still some side effects to know before booking your appointment. Such risks are mostly related to skin irritation caused by the chemicals. These include:
- swelling
- redness
- peeling
- itching
- bumps
The side effects may occur directly beneath and above the eyebrows, but they may also extend to your eyelids.
This procedure may not be recommended if you have:
- sensitive skin
- rosacea
- eczema
- a history of contact dermatitis
Just as perming the hair on your head can lead to dryness and damage, brow lamination could potentially damage your eyebrows in the same way. Your chances are greater if you repeat the process too often, or sooner than 6 weeks.
What are the benefits of Brow Lamination?
Eyebrow lamination may help address a variety of concerns you may have with your own brows, including:
- thinning hair that may occur with age
- gaps in your brows from overplucking or overwaxing in the past
- unruly hairs that tend to go different directions despite brushing them
- a lack of shape or unevenness
Overall, brow lamination is said to make brows look thicker and fuller. Pulling the hairs up vertically may also make it look like you are experiencing new growth. The entire process is also completely non-invasive.
What is a Brow Lamination?
Eyebrow lamination is a relatively new procedure that focuses on creating shiny, smooth brows. Also sometimes called an “eyebrow perm,” the high-shine effects tend to be sought after by those who may be experiencing thinning or unruly brows. Unlike microblading, needles and coloring are not involved.
If I have had an allergic reaction to eyelash adhesive before, will you do a patch test on me?
Unfortunately that answer is no, the reason being is because every adhesive has a main ingredient that contains cyanoacrylate in it, which is a compound that is easily polymerized and are used to make quick-setting adhesives. Although you may not have a reaction to the patch test, you most likely will have a reaction once you receive a full set and unfortunately we will want to avoid that at all costs.
Do you do foreign lash removals?
Yes, we do foreign lash removals. However, we always do a consultation prior to removing them just to ensure that we are actually able to remove them
Are eyelashes good for everyday wear?
Yes, eyelash extensions are good for everyday wear.
Are eyelashes extensions safe for your eyelashes?
Yes, as long as the artist is applying them correctly and instructs you on how to care for the lashes.
Will I receive a refund if I have an allergic reaction to the lash adhesive?
Unfortunately no, we state in our contract that we are not responsible for any reactions the client may have to do the lash adhesive we use. We use only top brand adhesive. However, we will remove the eyelashes for free.
